The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to start the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate Courses (CUET UG) 2024 soon. According to UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar, the NTA is preparing to launch the CUET-UG online application portal by this evening.  Candidates will have the opportunity to fill out the CUET UG 2024 application form by visiting the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in. The CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted by the NTA from May 15 to May 31. More than 250 universities, comprising government, state, private and deemed institutions, will consider applicants based on their CUET UG test scores.


Last year, a total of 13.95 lakh students registered for CUET UG, comprising 6.51 lakh female candidates and 7.48 lakh male candidates.






CUET UG 2024 Registration: Steps to Apply


Follow these steps to apply for CUET UG 2024:


Step 1. Visit the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2. Register with necessary details like name, contact number, and email address.

Step 3. Log in using the generated credentials.

Step 4. Fill out the CUET UG 2024 application form.

Step 5. Upload the required documents.

Step 6. Complete the payment of the application fee.

Step 7. Download and print a copy of the CUET UG 2024 application form for future reference.

"CUET UG is one of the biggest exams in India and the opening of the registration portal is eagerly awaited," said Viney from the CUET UG preparation platform ExamFactor.


CUET UG 2024 Registration: Documents Required


Candidates will need the following documents while completing the CUET UG 2024 application form:


1. Scanned copy of a current colour passport-sized picture.
2. A scanned copy of the signature (in black ink).
3. Government-issued photo identity proof such as an Aadhar card, passport, PAN card, or voter ID.
4. Bank details for fee payment.
5. Valid mobile number.
6. Valid email address.
7. Scanned copy of Class 10 marksheet.
8. Scanned copy of the Class 12 marksheet.
9. Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable).
