The conclave will be held virtually through video-conference. The Ministry of Education has organised the two-day conclave, which started on Thursday, as a part of the "Shiksha Parv", the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said in a statement.
The "Shiksha Parv" (education fest) is being celebrated from September 8-25 to honour teachers and take the new National Education Policy ahead. Several webinars, virtual conferences and conclaves on different aspects of the NEP are being organised across the country, the PMO said.
On August 7, Prime Minister Modi had delivered the inaugural address at the "Conclave on Transformational Reforms in Higher Education under NEP-2020" and also spoke at the "Governors' Conference" on this policy on September 7.

The NEP 2020 came to be with the Prime Minister's approval and as per Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, he has been the guiding force for it and hence the PM can be seen vocally supporting the new reform as he speaks to the stakeholders, laying emphasis on its features and supporting consultations to clarify everyone's concerns.
The NEP-2020 has been announced 34 years after the previous National Policy on Education in 1986 was implemented. The NEP-2020 aims to introduce major reforms at both the school and higher education levels in India.
