NEET UG Counselling 2021: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon release the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021 counselling on its official website. Once the counselling begins, candidates who have cleared the NEET-UG 2021 examination will be able to apply for the NEET UG Counselling 2021 by visiting the official website of the committee at mcc.nic.in.


The National Testing Agency (NTA) had declared the results of the NEET-UG 2021 examination on November 1, 2021, on its official website. This year, the cut-off for NEET-UG 2021 has slipped down for the unreserved category candidates from 720-147 in 2020 to 720-138 in 2021. The NEET Cut-off for the candidates belonging to the reserved category has also gone down from 146-113 in 2020 to 137-108 in 2021.


As per the NDTV report, in terms of percentile, the NEET 2021 cut-off for the unreserved candidates is 50th, while for the reserved candidates, it is 40th.


Last year, as many as 7,71,500 students had qualified for the NEET UG counselling 2020.


This year, via NEET counselling 2021, about 83,075 seats for MBBS, 26,949 for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH, 603 for BVSc will be filled. This year, the BSc Nursing admissions will be conducted via NEET scores.


Qualified candidates will be called for NEET UG Counselling 2021.


How to apply for NEET-UG Counselling 2021 after it begins:



  1. Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in

  2. On the homepage, click on the link that reads, "UG Medical Counselling"

  3. Click on the link that reads, "New Registration"

  4. Enter the requisite credentials

  5. Pay registration fee online

  6. Select the choices of college where candidates desire to take admission in

  7. Download the NEET UG Counselling 2021 registration slip and take its printout for future use.


NEET result 2021: Documents needed during counselling



  • Admit card of NEET 2021

  • Results of the NEET 2021 or rank letter

  • Class 10 pass certificate

  • Class 12 pass certificate

  • Government-issued photo ID

  • Passport size photos

  • Caste certificate, if applicable


The NEET-UG 2021 examination was held on September 12, 2021, at various centres spread across the country. As many as 16.14 lakh candidates had registered for the NEET-UG 2021 exam this year. Out of these, 95 per cent of the candidates appeared in the medical entrance examination.
