NEET Paper Leak Case: The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) detained two teachers from Latur district on Saturday night for suspected involvement in the alleged NEET UG exam 2024 paper leak. The two teachers, identified as Sanjay Tukaram Jadhav and Jalil Umarkhan Pathan, who work at a government school in Latur, were detained by the ATS's Nanded unit.

The teachers were detained after raids at two places in Latur district. Police suspect both teachers were involved in leaking NEET UG exam papers. They are now being questioned. Notably, both teachers also run private coaching classes in Latur.

In a related development, Bihar Police detained six more people from Jharkhand in connection with the alleged paper leak. Last month, Bihar's Economic Offences Unit arrested Sikandar Yadavendu, believed to be a key suspect in the case.
