NEET PG Exam 2021: The Supreme Court Of India on Thursday dismissed the plea seeking the postponement of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2021. According to the plea, the petitioners were demanding directions from the apex court to extend the date for the NEET PG 2021 examination until the National Board of Examinations (NBE) provides the candidates with an option to change the examination centre.

However, in view of the declining number of covid-19 cases across the country, the bench of Justices UU Lalit, S Ravindra Bhat and Bela M Trivedi dismissed the plea. Earlier last week, the apex court had allowed the plea of two NEET PG candidates to change the examination centre, as they were at an advanced stage of pregnancy.

The NEET PG 2021 examination is scheduled to be conducted on September 11, 2021. This year, as many as 1,74,886 candidates have registered for the NEET PG examination. An official notification released in relation to NEET PG 2021 states, "Every Candidate would be provided with a Protective Face Shield, Face Mask and Sanitizer Pouch at the Test Center. All COVID-19 protocols need to be followed while the exam is being conducted. Candidates will have to download their admit card from the NBE website and affix their latest passport size photograph in the space provided on the admit card.

Note: It is recommended to continue checking the Website of the NBE for the latest updates on the NEET PG 2021 examination.
