NEET PG SC Hearing: The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing on the NEET PG 2024 result transparency plea, a case that addresses aspirants’ concerns over the clarity and fairness of the exam process. The plea, brought before a bench led by Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Misra.


During the proceedings, the petitioner’s counsel raised significant concerns regarding the examination process, emphasising the lack of a published information memorandum and the absence of a standard operating procedure (SOP) for conducting the exam. The counsel further pointed out that the number of attempted questions displayed on candidates' computer screens did not align with the scores reflected in their scorecards. This discrepancy has led to confusion and dissatisfaction among aspirants.


Additionally, the petitioner’s counsel highlighted that states are currently in disarray regarding the counseling process, which adds another layer of urgency to the hearing.

In response, the counsel for the National Board of Examinations (NBE) asserted that the board has a rule against providing answer scripts to candidates, which has been a point of contention in the transparency discussions.


Justice Pardiwala acknowledged the complexity of the issues raised and confirmed the need for further hearings. He said that the case will be listed for discussion on a Non-Miscellaneous Day,
