NEET-PG Exam 2024 Exam Date: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will soon reveal the revised schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Post Graduate (NEET-PG), within the next two days, announced Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday. This update follows the recent cancellation of exams due to concerns over alleged irregularities in competitive tests.

"NEET-PG's date will be announced by the NBE in one or two days," Pradhan told reporters in Panchkula during the Haryana BJP's extended state executive meeting, as quoted by news agency PTI.

He also attacked the Congress over protests in Parliament demanding a discussion on the NEET-UG Exam row. "From their attitude in the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha over the last two days, we feel the Congress party has made up its mind to become a political outfit which creates obstruction rather than becoming a constructive opposition," he remarked, as per PTI.

Cancelled June UGC-NET Exam To Take Place In August

Earlier, the National Testing Agency (NTA) rescheduled multiple exams after controversies arose. The University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET), initially cancelled due to suspected exam integrity breaches, will now take place from August 21 to September 4. Pradhan pointed out that the exam, which determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships and assistant professorships, faced issues with leakage via the darknet and Telegram app, currently under CBI investigation.

In another adjustment, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC-NET, crucial for PhD admissions in various sciences, will be conducted from July 25 to July 27. Similarly, the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for the Integrated Teacher Education Programme, previously postponed, is now scheduled for July 10.

Amid mounting concerns over exam irregularities, the Centre has formed a committee to ensure the fair and transparent conduct of exams through the National Testing Agency (NTA).
