NEET UG 2024 Result: The National Testing Agency, NTA released the NEET UG result 2024 on June 4, 2024. Since then, students and parents are raising concerns over allegations of irregularities and paper leaks. The NTA faced serious questions after the IMA Junior Doctors Network raised concerns about the NEET UG 2024 results. Dr Indranil Deshmukh, the National Convener of the IMA Junior Doctors Network, pointed out several issues and called for an investigation.

"Last evening, IMA Junior Doctors Network sent a letter to NTA, raising questions on the NEET-UG results declared on 4th June... For the first time in the history of NEET, aspirants scored 718 - 719 marks, which is impossible according to the negative marking system... NTA claimed they have given grace marks to those whose time was wasted during the examination. Why was this rule of grace marks not given in the information bulletin? How was a new rule suddenly made after the exam?...," Dr. Indranil Deshmukh said.

"For the first time, 67 students got 720 (full) marks, and 6-7 aspirants who scored full marks came from the same test centre in Haryana. The country knew that the NEET exam paper was leaked, what action did the NTA take against it? For the first time, the cutoff has gone so high... We want a CBI inquiry of the matter and a re-examination should also be conducted... If our demands are not fulfilled, IMA Junior Doctors Network will organise an all-India strike," he further added.

This year's NEET UG 2024 cutoff marks are also much higher than usual, which has upset many students. NEET UG 2024 had 67 students achieving the top rank, with six of them from the same exam center in Haryana. A few students scored 718 and 719 out of 720. After the results were announced, many students questioned the number of top scorers and the grace marks given. This issue has been trending, and there are now claims of problems and paper leaks because some medical students received unusually high marks.
