NEET UG Phase 2 Registration 2021: The second phase of NEET-UG registration has started on Friday, October 1, 2021. This year, medical candidates will have to fill the second set of applications for NEET UG. This has been done so that the data of medical candidates can be collected quickly. Candidates should note that the application window for NEET Phase 2 will remain open till October 10.
"All the candidates who have successfully registered and paid the examination fee online will be required to fill the second set of information on the NEET (UG) - 2021 application form," a statement from the NTA issued on October 1 reads. NTA will allow candidates to edit the educational details of classes 11 and 12 and the application filled during the first phase including gender, nationality, e-mail address, category, sub-category during this period.
The candidates will not have to pay any additional fee for filling the second set of information. On the other hand, if candidates fail to complete Phase 2 registration for NEET 2021, their candidature will be cancelled, and NEET Result 2021 will not be declared for that candidate.
Following details have to be filled in during NEET Phase 2 application:
- Place of Residence
- Mode of preparation
- Educational details of class 10th and class 11th including passing year, place of schooling and marks obtained
- Income details of parents
Medical candidates will also have to upload certain documents, which include category certificate, PWD certificate, 10th class certificate and citizenship certificate, while submitting the NEET Phase 2 registration details.
