The Mumbai University has released the first merit list for undergraduate programmes. Affiliated colleges such as ML Dahanukar College of Commerce, Rizvi College, H R College of Commerce and Economics, Sophia College for Women, and St. Xavier's College and others have published the MU merit list on their respective websites. The merit list includes the registration number, name, category, marks obtained, qualifying marks, and other relevant details of the selected candidates. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the first merit list are required to report to the allotted college between June 20 and 27 to complete their admission formalities. This includes the process of document verification and payment of the required fees.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates must possess certain documents, including a passport-sized photograph, signature, Aadhar Card, 'ABC' ID, caste certificate, 10th and 12th (HSC) marksheets, and a specially-abled certificate if applicable. The document verification process for Mumbai University admission 2023 will continue until June 20, and candidates must pay the fees by June 27 for the first round of admissions.
