KVS Class 1-12 Admission 2024 Schedule Out; Registration From April 1

KVS Class 1-12 Admission 2024 schedule has been released.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the schedule for admission to Classes 1 to 11 for the academic session 2024-25. The registration process for class 1 will begin on April 1, 2024. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has introduced a new admission portal for admission to a total of 1,254 Kendriya Vidyalaya schools. According to the announcement, the registration for KV Class 11 admission will commence 10 days after the declaration of Class 10 board exam results. 

“List of children registered, list of eligible children, category-wise list of provisionally selected children, waiting list and subsequent lists to be compulsorily displayed on the website of the Kendriya Vidyalayas concerned, in addition to display on School’s Notice Board,” KVS said in a notice.

As per the recent instructions, all newly opened Kendriya Vidyalayas until February 2024 have been directed to conduct Class 1 admissions exclusively through the online mode via the OLA (Online Admission) portal. 

However, “the schedule for Class 2 admission onwards will not be binding for them as full strength 32 is to be admitted,” it said.

Here is the Kendriya Vidyalaya admission schedule for the academic year 2024-25:

KVS Class 1 Admission:

Application begins: April 1 from 10 am
Registration last date: April 15 up to 5 pm
1st provisionally selected list: April 19
2nd provisionally selected list: April 29
Third provisionally selected list: May 8
Extended date for the second notification if schools did not receive enough applications:
  - May 7 - notification
  - May 8 to 15 - registration window
Display of selection list: May 22 to 27

KVS Class 2-11 Admission:

Application begins: April 1
Registration last date: April 10
Declaration of the list: April 15
Admission for Class 2 onwards: April 16 to 29
Last date of admission for all classes except class 11: June 29
