The Department of School Education, Karnataka has started inviting applications for KARTET (Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test) 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their KARTET 2023 registration cum application forms online on the official website - schooleducation.kar.nic.in. Candidates will be able to submit their KARTET 2023 Applications till August 5, 2023. As per the official schedule, the KARTET 2023 Exam will be held on September 3, 2023, and the admit cards of the exam will be available for download from August 28 to September 1, 2023. 


As notified by the Department of School Education, Karnataka, those candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and a one-year Bachelor in Education (BEd) or a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) can apply for the KARTET 2023 for for upper primary teacher posts (Class 6 to 8). On the other hand, to apply for the KARTET 2023 for the primary teachers posts, candidates who have completed their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and alongside a two-year diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), are eligible to apply. 


Notably, the Karnataka State Education Board conducts the KARTET Exam every year to shortlist suitable and eligible candidates for teaching posts at various levels across schools in Karnataka. Earlier, the KARTET 2203 Notification was released on July 14, and applications for the KARTET 2023 Exam began on the very same day.

  • On the homepage, click on the link to ‘Online Application For Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test - 2023’

  • In the new page that opens, register as a new user

  • Fill in your basic details and register online to generate user credentials

  • Login using your system-generated credentials

  • Fill in the application form with all required details

  • Upload relevant documents

  • Pay the application fee online and submit the application

  • Download the application confirmation page for reference
