The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the NEET UG 2024 counselling registration today, July 29. Candidates seeking admission to medical, dental, and Ayush courses can register for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2024 through the official websites, kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/KEA. According to a recent KEA notification, this is an opportunity for candidates who missed the earlier registration deadline. KEA also said that those who have already submitted their registration forms can update their reservation details, if any.


"Medical, Dental and AYUSH course details have been obtained at the time submission of application for UGCET-2024. Now, portal is enabled from 24-07-2024 to the candidates who have already submitted the UGCET-2024 application; to enter the reservations pertaining to Minority Linguistic, Minority Religious, NRI Ward, St. Johns Medical College (RC-1 to RC-8) which are applicable to medical and dental courses and for Medical, Dental and AYUSH course selection. Eligible candidates can enter the details of Minority Linguistic, Minority Religious, NRI Ward, St. Johns Medical College (RC-1 to RC-8) and select the course up to 29-07-2024", KEA notification read.


The document verification will be conducted along with the newly registered candidates and the verification dates will be published in the KEA Website in due course of time, it added.


Steps To Register For Karnataka NEET UG Counselling 2024


Step 1: Visit the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.


Step 2: Under the 'Admissions' tab click on 'UG NEET 2024'


Step 3: Now click on the link that reads, 'Online submission of application for Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homoepathy Course-2024-Another opportunity'


Step 4: Click on 'UG Medical & Dental online application edit link'


Step 5: Now enter your details.


Step 6: Complete the registration process.

It is to be noted that the Karnataka NEET UG Counseling 2024 will be held for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Around 43,451 seats will be available through this counselling. This includes 33,829 seats for the MBBS programme and 9,622 seats in medical and dental colleges across the state.
