JPSC Civil Services Prelim Exam 2021: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the schedule of the State Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2021 on its official website. This JPSC exam will be conducted on September 19, 2021. JPSC State Combined Civil Services Preliminary Exam 2021 admit card will be issued on September 4, 2021. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download the admit card by visiting the JPSC portal from 12 noon onwards.






The JPSC exam will be conducted in two shifts, the first shift from 10 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 2 pm to 4 pm.


JPSC will select and recommend candidates for appointment to a total of 245 vacant posts through this exam. Out of total vacancies, 44 vacancies are for Deputy Collector post, 40 for Police Sub Inspector post, 16 for District Coordinator post, 2-2 for Jail Superintendent & Assistant Director post, 65 for Assistant Municipal Commissioner post, 41 for Jharkhand Education Service II, 10 for the post of Junior Registrar, 6 for the post of Assistant Registrar, 9 for the post of Planning Officer, and 17 for the post of Probation Officer.



The exam will consist of two compulsory papers of 200 marks each. This is General Study-I and General Study-11. Each paper will be of 2 hours duration. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Mains Exam. The selection list for the main examination will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks obtained in both papers.
