SSC JE Registration 2024: The Staff Selection Commission, SSC has started the SSC JE registration 2024. Candidates interested in applying for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) examination must register through the official website at ssc.gov.in. This recruitment drive aims to fill 968 posts. According to the official schedule, the application process will conclude on April 18, 2024. However, the deadline to pay the application fee is April 19, 2024. The application fee is Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC and ST categories are exempted from the application fee payment.


SSC JE exam will be conducted in two papers. Both papers will include Objective Type and Multiple Choice Questions. SSC JE Paper 1 examinations are scheduled from June 4 to June 6, 2024. According to the schedule, candidates can make corrections in their application from April 22 to April 23, 2024. 


Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC JE exam every year to select candidates for the recruitment of Junior Engineers posts for various Departments/ Organisations in the Government of India.

Step 2: Then, on the homepage, navigate to the link that reads 'Apply'


Step 3: Now, provide the required details.


Step 4: Pay the necessary application fee.

SSC JE 2024: Eligibility Criteria


Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for the SSC JE 2024 exam below.



  • Aspirants must have pursued a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree in the respective stream from a recognised institution.

  • The age limit of the candidate must not be below 18 and above 30 or 32 years, as per the requirement.
