The online application process for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023 is underway on ssc.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to participate in the recruitment drive can submit their registration cum application forms for the recruitment on the official website. The last date to apply for the recruitment is December 31, 2023. Registered candidates will be able to pay their registration fee till January 1, 2024 though. Following the closure of the application window, candidates will also be allowed to correct their submitted applications from January 4 to January 6, 2024.
The SSC is conducting the recruitment drive to fill a total of 26,146 vacancies for the post of GD in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). However, candidates may note that the vacancies under this recruitment are tentative and are likely to change, as necessitated by the commission.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The shortlisting of candidates for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2023 shall be done on the basis of a multi-stage selection process listed as follows:
Stage 1 - Computer Based Examination
Stage 2 - Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Stage 3 - Medical Examination and Document Verification
Those who have completed their Class 10th from a recognised board, and are aged between 18-23 years, as of January 1, 2024, are eligible to apply for the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024. As per the official notification, the SSC will conduct the SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2024 sometime in February-March 2024. The commission shall notify the exact dates of the examination in due course of time. The computer based exam shall be held in 13 different regional languages besides Hindi and English.
