The Staff Selection Commission has announced the dates for the Physical Tests of the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022. As per the official schedule notified by the SSC, the Physical Standards Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be held from April 15 onwards. Candidates can check the official dates of the SSC GD physical tests 2022 on rectcrpf.gov.in.


The commission has also hinted that the E-Admit Cards for the physical tests are likely to be released soon. The SSC released an official notice announcing the SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 Physical Tests. 


“The PST/PET event of CT(GD) Exam-2022 in CAPFS, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in NCB for qualified/ shortlisted candidates is tentatively scheduled from 15/04/2023 onwards. The E-Admit card for PST/PET stage will be uploaded on CRPF website in due course. Candidates are advised to visit CRPF website (i.e. https://rect.crpf.gov.in) from time to time to download the E-Admit Card. Candidates will not be permitted for PST/PET without an Admit Card,” reads the official SSC notice.

Earlier, the SSC conducted the written exam for the GD Constable Recruitment 2022 from February 10 to 14, 2023. The exam was held in multiple shifts in the online mode. Over 30 lakh candidates were estimated to have registered for the SSC GD Constable recruitment. Following the conduct of the written exam, the commission released the provisional answer key of the exam on February 18. The Staff Selection Commission is also expected to release the SSC GD Constable 2022 Result soon. Those shortlisted in the written exam will be further called for the physical tests. 


Originally, the SSC aimed at filling up a total of 24369 GD Constable vacancies across BSF (Border Security Force), CISF (Central Industrial Security Force), CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force), ITBP (Indo-Tibet Border Police), SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal), SSF (Secretariat Security Forces), Rifleman in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau). However, after subsequent revisions, the final number of vacancies to be filled through the SSC GD Constable Recruitment has been revised to 50,147.
