RRB NTPC Recruitment 2021: Important news for candidates who have appeared for RRB NTPC 2021. The Railway Recruitment Board has issued an official notification regarding examination fee refund. Candidates who had appeared in the first stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) held from 28.12.2020 to 31.07.2021 in 7 (seven) Phases, are entitled to get the refund of their examination fee (which was Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/ExSM/PwBD /Female/Minority/EBC/Transgender candidates and Rs. 400/- for others), after deduction of banking/service charges as applicable.


Apply for refund of exam fee


Railway Recruitment Board has started the process of applying for a refund of fees prescribed for the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) Examination 2021 from 11th August, 2021. RRB has also activated links on various zone websites for candidates to request a refund of the examination fee. Candidates can apply for the examination fee refund through this link.  The last date to apply for fee refund is August 31, 2021.


Details needed to get a refund


Candidates will have to provide their bank account details and IFSC code. Candidates who have received the admit card but have not appeared for the examination are not eligible to apply for a refund.  


How to submit bank details for refunds



  1. Visit the official website rrbcdg.gov.in

  2. Click the link to submit bank account details available on the homepage.

  3. A new window will open. Enter roll number, date of birth, registered mobile number, and captcha code.

  4. Click on the login button

  5. Enter your name, account number, branch IFSC code.

  6. Click Submit


Cross-check before submitting bank account details


Candidates are advised to cross-check bank account number, name, and IFSC code before submitting their details for a refund of the examination fee. Bank account details cannot be edited once submitted. The RRB NTPC fee refund will not be provided if the candidate will not update the bank details.
