JEE Main 2023 Result for session 1 has been declared and is available on the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in. This year twenty candidates have scored perfect 100 in the engineering entrance exam. According to the NTA, all the candidates with 100 NTA score are males. NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained but normalized scores. The second edition of the crucial exam will be held in April.

There is no female candidate who secured the 100 percentile in JEE Main session 1 this year. The top three performers among girl candidates are:

  • Meesala Pranathi Sreeja: 99.997259 percentile
  • Ramireddy Meghna: 99.9944732 percentile
  • Medha Bhavani Girish: 99.9941001 percentile

The top 20 rank holders in JEE Main January Session 2023 include 14 students from the General category, 4 from the OBC category, 1 from the General-EWS category, and 1 from the SC category. 

The NTA Score of approximately 50 candidates has been temporarily withheld due to ongoing scrutiny. These cases are being reviewed by a separate committee and their NTA Scores will be made available once the committee releases its final report. 

This year 8.6 lakh candidates registered for the JEE entrance exam and out of these, 8.22 lakh candidates appeared on the day of the exams. This is the highest number since NTA started conducting the entrance exam.

NTA also recorded the highest-ever attendance for the JEE Main Exam. The overall attendance for the entrance paper is 95.79 percent.

JEE Main 2023 exam was conducted by The National Testing Agency on January 24, 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2023. The exam was conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
