• Besides, conducting the exam twice a year, in an another significant change, these exams will be held over many days • Students will have the option to choose a date from 8 different sitings • In case the student appeared for the JEE (Main) and NEET twice, the best of his/ her two scores will be taken into account • The JEE Main 2019 Result for both the months will be announced separately • Candidates can check the official website of NTA - ntaexams.co.in - for information on JEE Main 2019 ResultJEE Main: Eligibility criteria
• A score of at least 75 per cent in class 12 board exams, OR • A place among the top 20 percentile of the Boards is required to be eligible for JEE main or advanced • The bar has been lowered to 65 per cent for candidates of the SC and ST categoriesJEE Main 2019 Exam Pattern
• It will be a computer based online test • The duration of the test will be 3 hours • It will be an objective type (MCQ ) question paper • English and Hindi languages will be the medium available to appear for the exam • 30 questions each shall be asked from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics section for Paper 1(BE/BTech) • 50 questions will be asked from the aptitude section • 30 questions from Mathematics section • 2 questions from the drawing part for candidates appearing for Paper B(B.Arch/B.Plan)JEE exam Marking Scheme
Marking Scheme will be as follows: • For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded • For an incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 1 mark • No marks will be deducted if an answer is left unansweredJEE Main Cut off
• As mentioned earlier after the JEE Main 2019 Results are out, candidates will be able to check the cutoff for various undergraduate engineering courses • The cut off marks vary every year across candidates of the different category • Candidates will be able to apply for the college whose cutoff matches to the rank or score secured by that candidateJEE exam Significance
• Clearing the JEE mains and advanced papers will make candidates eligible for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.
