JEE Advanced 2021: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur on Wednesday postponed the JEE Advanced 2021 examination. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the covid-19 pandemic and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the official website of the JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in.
Earlier, the JEE Advanced 2021 examination was scheduled to be held on July 3, 2021. “Considering the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) stands postponed. The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time,” reads the official notice.

The JEE Advanced 2021 examination consists of two papers. Paper 1 was scheduled to be conducted in the morning shift from 9 am to 12:30 noon and Paper II was to be held in the evening shift from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. However, both of the shifts stand deferred for now.
According to the notification, the fresh schedule for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination will be notified in a due course of time. Candidates who will clear the JEE Main 2021 examination will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination. Candidates will have to register for JEE Advanced 2021 examination online.
