JEE Advanced 2019 Exam has been rescheduled to Monday, 27th May 2019, from the earlier exam date Sunday, 19th May 2019. The postponing of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2019 comes in the wake of General Elections 2019 schedule that is coinciding with the original schedule for the national level entrance exam for UG/PG and Integrated engineering and architecture programmes in the prestigious IITs.

“In view of the clash in the dates of JEE (Advanced) 2019 and the last phase of General Elections 2019, the examination date of JEE (Advanced) 2019 has been shifted to May 27, 2019 (Monday). The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST),” read the notification pertaining to revised exam date for JEE Advanced 2019.

Once the combined result of JEE Main January 2019 and April 2019 is announced on 30th April 2019 for Paper-I, the top 2,24,000 candidates will be rendered eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2019 examination.

IIT Roorkee will be organizing JEE Advanced 2019 for candidates seeking admissions to various courses including 4-year Bachelors viz BTech, BS; 5-year B.Arch; 5-year Dual Degree viz B.Tech-M.Tech, B.S-M.S; or 5-year  Integrated Masters viz M.Tech, M.Sc Dual Degree at the most sought after Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the country.

The examination will be held in two shifts viz Paper 1 in the forenoon shift from 9am to 12 noon and Paper 2 in the afternoon shift from 2pm to 5pm. Both the papers are compulsory and will be held in fully computer based mode.

JEE Advanced 2019 Result will be declared on 14th June 2019, 10am, and at the same time registration for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will begin.
