Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria and requisite experience differ for various posts notified by Indian Oil. GATE 2019 qualified candidates can read through the official notification given below to ascertain their eligibility for the post they wish to apply for.

Age-Limit:

The applicant must be less than 30 years as on 30th June 2019. Age relaxation rules apply for reserved category candidates.

Selection Process:

The selection process for Engineers/GAEs/Officers/Research Officers in R& D Centres / Assistant Officers (Quality Control) in Marketing Division will be done on the basis of applicant’s GATE 2019 Score in the concerned discipline. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Group Discussion (GD)/ Group Task (GT) and Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of their GATE 2019 Score. The Final Merit list will be made on the basis of their performance in these rounds and GATE 2019 Score taken together.

Pay Scale:

Engineers/GAEs – Rs.60,000 Basic Pay plus other allowances per month, adding upto Rs. 17 lac per annum.

Post Graduate Engineers - Rs.60,000 Basic Pay plus other allowances per month, adding upto Rs. 17 lac per annum.

Post Graduates in Chemistry - Rs.50,000 Basic Pay plus other allowances per month, adding upto Rs. 14 lac per annum.
