HPSC Recruitment 2019: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released a recruitment advertisement notifying 524 vacancies for the post of Assistant Professors, College Cadre in the Higher Education Department.  As per Advertisement No. 01/2019, the Haryana PSC is scheduled to begin the online application process on Friday i.e. 15^th March 2019, this week, on the official websites of HPSC viz www.hpsc.gov.in or www.hpsconline.in. The last date for the submission of online applications is 15^th April 2019, 05:00 p.m.

Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must have obtained at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F at the Master’s Degree; 3 level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University;

S/he must have cleared NET conducted by the UGC, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test like SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment as Assistant Professors in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Age-Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 42 years as on 15^th March 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given above.

Pay Scale:

The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 57,700-1,82,400.

Application Fee:

General category males including Dependent, Son of Ex-Servicemen of Haryana & for Male candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States - Rs. 500

Female candidates of (General and Reserved) categories of all states & For Male candidates of SC/ BC/EBP (Gen.) / ESM categories of Haryana only - Rs. 125

Physically Handicapped candidates (with at least 40% disability) categories of Haryana only – exempted.
