HPBOSE Class 10 Result 2021: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the assesment criteria for HPBOSE class 10 students. In view of the covid-19 pandemic, the board had canceled the class 10 board examinations and also decided to promote the students to class 11. According to the objective criteria set by the board, students of class 10 will be evaluated based on their peroformance in the first-term, second-term, pre-board examinations, and internal assesment. 


Earlier, the board had scheduled the HPBOSE class 10 or matriculation examination to be held from April 13 to 28, 2021, while the class 12 examination was to be conducted from April 13 to May 10, 2021. However, the board had to postpone the class 12 board examination due to the surge in covid-19 cases across the state. 


As per the scheme, the board will declare the results of the HPBOSE class 10 or matric examinations soon on its official website. The results will be prepared based on the marks secured by the students in the following:



  • First Term Exam

  • Second Term Exam

  • Pre-Board examination

  • Internal assessment 


Moreover, the HP government had also announced that all the educational institutes in the state will remain closed till May 31, 2021, in view of the coronavirus pandemic. 


Most of the state boards had already either postponed or canceled their board exams in view of the rising number of coronavirus cases. Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have also canceled the class 10th board exams and had postponed the class 12th board exams in light of the pandemic.
