HP Police Recruitment 2019: Application process for 1063 Constable posts has begun on the official recruitment portal of Himachal Pradesh Police - recruitment.hppolice.gov.in. Himachal Police aims to fill 720 vacancies for the post of male constables, 130 vacancies for Driver constable posts, and 213 vacancies for the post of female constables. “Note: The category once written by the candidate in his/her application form will be taken as final and will not be re-considered or changed during the further recruitment process” read an important note on the official website.

Class 12th pass candidates who fulfil the physical standards criteria and eligibility criteria for driver constable post are eligible to apply for this mega recruitment drive. The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 23 years (25 years for reserved categories) as on 1 st January 2019.

The Himachal Pradesh Police will adopt a three-stage recruitment process for the selection of candidates viz Physical Test, Written Test and Personality Test. The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.5910 – 20200 with Grade pay of Rs.1900/- (initial start Rs.7810).
