Himachal Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (HPBOSE) is likely to conduct the class 10 and Class 12 board examination 2021 from May 4, 2021. As per the latest announcement, practical exams will be held between April 15 and 30. The candidates who are preparing for HPBOSE class 12 and class 10 examinations must note that the detailed timetable is not released yet It will soon be published on the official website.

Govind Thakur reportedly said that the dates have been announced after discussions with HPBOSE, teachers and parents. Keeping in view the situation of Coronavirus pandemic in the state, strong security arrangements will be made in schools to prevent the spread of the deadly disease.

Meanwhile, examinations of non-board classes will be conducted by schools from April 10, 2021 to avoid crowding in the schools.

The decision was taken a couple of days after Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Thursday announced that Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct board exams for classes 10 and 12 physically from May 4, 2021 to June 10, 2021.

"The board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from May 4 to June 10. Schools will be allowed to conduct practical exams from March 1. Date sheet for both the classes will be issued soon. The result will be declared by July 15," Pokhriyal announced.
