The Himachal Pradesh education department will issue these notices to seek explanations from the teachers regarding the "poor results". According to Ashish Kohli, Director of Elementary Education, an analysis revealed that out of 116 schools affiliated with the HP Board, the pass percentage was less than 25% in some, with 30 schools recording a zero percent result. Kohli said that the identification of teachers has been completed, and the process of sending out notices will commence on Tuesday.

"There is a provision of issuing warning and stopping increment and in the first phase, the education directorate and deputy directors are issuing show cause notice seeking explanation for poor results to teachers in schools where the pass percentage is less than 25 per cent," Kholi said.
