GATE 2019: IIT Madras concluded the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2019 yesterday, after organizing it on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February 2019 across the country for candidates seeking admissions to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. Financial assistance is also granted on the basis of a candidate’s GATE score, besides many PSUs and private organizations who keep GATE Score as the eligibility criteria to apply for recruitment drives.


The varsity has released the candidates’ responses for Shifts 1, 2, 3 and 4, while rest is expected to be issued soon. Candidates who had appeared in GATE 2019 on 2nd and 3rd February 2019, i.e. for Shifts 1, 2, 3 and 4, can download their Responses from the login page on https://appsgate.iitm.ac.in/. “S1, S2, S3 & S4 Examinations. Candidates can view their responses by Clicking here” stated an important update on the official website of GATE 2019.

IIT Madras is expected to soon release the GATE 2019 Answer Keys and invite objections against the same.

Candidates must note that GATE 2019 Result is scheduled to be declared on 16th March 2019, next month, post which, GATE 2019 Score Cards will be available for download between 20th March 2019 to 31st May 2019. GATE qualified students would be able to request a soft copy of their GATE 2019 scorecard until 31st December 2019 by paying an application fee of Rs.500.

The GATE 2019 Score will be valid for 3 years from the declaration of Result

Meanwhile, students who had appeared for the GATE 2019 exam and wish to pursue a career with the Public Sector Undertakings aka PSUs, can start applying for the relevant vacancies.
