FMGE December 2023 Exam: The National Medical Commission (NMC) is set to commence the process of accepting applications for the eligibility certificate for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2023, starting from October 16. The FMGE is currently slated to be held in December this year, as confirmed by the commission. Aspiring candidates intending to participate in the examination can apply for the eligibility certificate through the official website of NMC at nmc.org. Candidates should take note that the deadline for submitting applications for the FMGE eligibility certificate is October 25, with the cutoff time set at 6 pm. The commission stated that candidates will not be permitted to take the screening test without possessing this essential certificate.
“The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) screening test may be scheduled tentatively in the month of December, 2023 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. As per the requirements, the candidates who are required to have the eligibility criteria are not permitted to apply for screening test without the eligibility certificate issued by the National Medical Commission,” NMC said in an official notification.
Furthermore, the commission has underscored that incomplete applications will not be considered and will be outrightly rejected. Following this, the application portal for the eligibility certificate will be closed. To avoid any confusion, the NMC has advised candidates to confirm the necessity of the eligibility certificate by referring to the public notices dated December 11, 2018, and April 5, 2019, which are available on its official website.

“All such candidates who intend to correspond regarding their applications are requested to provide reference of their file tracking number at eligibility.regn@nmc.org.in or usregn@nmc.org.in.,” the NMC further said.
