College Admission 2020: With 12th board results declared in most parts of the country, there is anxiety among the students to find the right college which could help in building their future. With over 1.57 lakh students scoring 90% and above in CBSE alone, competition for a DU seat is intense.
Last date to apply in DU:
The Delhi University has extended the application process for admission to undergraduate/ postgraduate (UG/ PG) courses. The candidates can apply till July 31. “All eligible applicants are informed that the last date of the online registration process of all the courses (Under-graduate (UG), Post-graduate (PG), MPhil, PhD programmes) has been extended up to 5 pm July 31, 2020,” read the varsity release.

How to apply?
- Go to the official website of Delhi University du.ac.in
- Go to the admission link shown on the homepage
- Visit the UG or PG admissions page as per your requirement
- You would be taken to a new window
- Register yourself to generate an OTP and password
- Open the application form using the same and fill it completely
- Go to the fee section to deposit the fee online
- Submit the form and keep a copy of it for future reference
Registration Fees for admission in Delhi University
The registration fee for merit-based courses is Rs 250. For candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/EWS category, the fee is Rs 100. An additional registration fee for ECA/Sports quota will be Rs 100 while for the entrance-based course, a fee of Rs 750 will be applicable. For reserved category candidates, a fee of Rs 300. In case any student cancels his/her admission the fee of INR 1000 is charged.

- OBC- Non-Creamy Layer certificate (for OBC candidates)
- EWS Certificate (on applicability)

Entrance exam date: Delhi University has decided to conduct its admission entrance tests from September 6 to 11. The decision was taken in a meeting that was held by the DU Admission committee on Saturday, July 18.
DUET 2020: Scheme of exam
- Mode of Examination- LAN Based CBT (Computer Based Test)
- Duration -2 Hours

- Marks per question - 4 (four) for each correct response

DUET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
DUET Eligibility Criteria varies for most of the courses. The minimum eligibility requirement for different courses are given below -
DUET Eligibility Criteria 2020 for BTech
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 with 60% aggregate in four subjects, which must include Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
DUET Eligibility Criteria 2020 for BA Hons Humanities and Social Sciences
- Candidates must have secured at least 60% aggregate in four subjects in Class 12.
DUET Eligibility Criteria 2020 for BA Hons Multimedia and Mass Communication Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination with 75% aggregate in four subjects. They must have secured 85% in English. Candidates can include Mass Media Studies as an academic subject among the best four subjects.
