The University of Delhi has announced the revised exam dates for exams that were cancelled in the light of flood-like situation in Delhi. The university notified the revised exam dates for second-year examination for regular, the School of Open Learning and the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board students through an official notification today, July 17, 2023. As per the schedule, the exam for theory papers which were previously scheduled to be held on July 17, 18, and 19, will now be held on July 26, August 1 and 2, 2023. 


Similarly, the practical exams which were earlier scheduled to be held on July 14, 15, and 16, wil be now held on August 3, 4, and 5. Notably, in the past few days, the monsoon fury with severe rainfall has lashed onto the national capital and surrounding areas. The incessant rains triggered water levels in the Yamuna river followed by water-clogging in several parts of the capital disrupting movement of commute of its citizens, besides loss of life and property.

Considering the monsoon chaos, several schools, colleges and educational institutions in various parts of the city were directed to be closed temporarily, affecting the education system in Delhi and its surrounding areas like Ghaziabad, Noida, etc. The incessant rains and rising water levels in the Yamuna river, also pushed the Delhi University administration to cancel exams that were scheduled to be held in mid July. 


Apart from notifying rescheduled exam dates, the Delhi University released the UG Admission Schedule 2023 earlier today. The DU undergraduate admissions 2023 will be done through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), which is based on the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) results. 


As per the official schedule, the university will release the first CSAS admission list on August 1, on its official website. CUET UG 2023 qualified candidates must note that the application process for CSAS phase 2 will commence today, July 17, and candidates can submit their applications till July 24. Notably, the classes for undergraduate courses are scheduled to begin from August 16 this year.
