Delhi University Admission 2021: Several states, including CBSE, have declared the class 12th result and the registration process for admission to UG courses has also been started in Delhi University. According to official data, more than 1.10 lakh students have already registered for undergraduate courses on the admission portal of Delhi University.


The registration process for about 70,000 UG courses seats in DU will end on August 31. As of 7 pm on Thursday, 1 lakh 10 thousand 494 candidates had registered on the portal for UG courses, while 87,912 had registered for PG courses and 12,539 for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses.


The university also held its first virtual 'Open Day' on Thursday. Here, the authorities answered the students' questions. They asked them to be vigilant while filling the form as they would not be able to edit it at a later stage.


Sanjeev Singh, Director, Delhi University Computer Centre said, "Please be careful while choosing a category. The form does not have to be filled in at once. You have enough time to fill out the form. There is a separate tab for the entrance exam, and you can choose the courses for which you are applying, be careful while selecting ECA and sports category."


The officials were also asked questions by students about various boards recognized by the university. Prof. Anand Sonkar said, "We recognize all boards recognized by the University Grants Commission, the Council of School Education Board in India (COBSE) and the Ministry of Education." You can check whether your board is acceptable or not on the COBSE portal. He added that the bulletin of information has grade conversion for IB and Cambridge University.
