CUET UG 2024 Exam From May 15, PG Entrance Test From March 11: M Jagadesh Kumar

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has announced that the CUET-UG 2024 Exam will be held from May 15 to May 31, 2024, and the CUET-PG 2024 Exam will be held from March 11 to March 28, 2024.

UG Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has announced the dates for the CUET 2024 Exam. As per the UGC Chief, the CUET-PG 2024 Exam will be conducted from March 11 to March 28, 2024, while the CUET-UG 2024 Exam will be conducted from May 15 to 31, 2024. The UGC Chairman toll to X (Formerly X) to announce the CUET 2024 Exam Dates. Besides announcing the exam dates, he also stated that the results of the exam shall be announced withing three weeks of the last test of both the exams, respectively. 

"For the Academic year 2024-25, Common University Entrance Test for Under-graduate programmes (CUET-UG) will be conducted by NTA from 15th May - 31 May 2024. Results will be announced within three weeks of last test," reads a post from the UGC Chief on X today. 

"For the Academic year 2024-25, Common University Entrance Test for Post-graduate programmes (CUET-PG) will be conducted by NTA from 11th March - 28th March 2024. Results will be announced within three weeks of last test," says another post by M Jagadesh Kumar. 

Making the exam dates for the CUET 2024 Exams, the UGC Chairman also notified that the CUET-UG and PG 2024 Exams will be held in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode, like the CUET 2023 Exams. Moreover, since the CUET-UG and PG 2023 counselling process is still underway in some universities, the NTA is likley to announce the detailed schedule and exam pattern of the CUET 2024 Exams by the end of this year. However, not much change in the exam curriculum is expected compared to the CUET 2023 Exams. 

Notably, the CUET is a national level examination conducted by the National testing Agency (NTA) to shortlist suitable candidates for admissions into various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by several central uniuversities across the country. With around 14 lakh applications from students across the country, the CUET-UG remains the second-largest enyrance exam in the country, in terms of applicants.
