New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting CUET UG 2022 re-test for candidates who could not take their exam due to technical glitches and other factors on September 11 at various exam centres across the country. The decision to conduct re-test was based on the grievances of the individual students regarding their experience in CUET (UG) – 2022. All students have been communicated through their registered e-mail address for the re-test.


The CUET UG 2022 examination was conducted in six phases from July 15 onwards across the country.


Almost 14 lakh candidates attempted the papers, but some candidates could not take the examination due to technical glitches. The testing agency later gave them an opportunity to appear for the exam in the next phase.

The answer key for Phase 1 to Phase 6 was released on Thursday. In case of discrepancy on any answer key, candidates can raise objections on the official website- cuet.samarth.ac.in till September 10. "The payment of the processing fee may be made through, Debit card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ Paytm up to 10 September 2022 (up to 11:50 PM. No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee," the NTA said in a notification.


Once the objections have been received, the subject matter experts will review them and the results will be prepared on the basis of the final answer key that will be released along with the result.


"No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalised by the experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after September 10, 2022 (up to 11:50 PM)," it read.


The Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) - 2022) was introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities from the academic session 2022-23.
