The Centre of Behavioral and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS)- Allahabad University and International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Hyderabad) have extended the registration deadline for the COGJET 2024 Exam till January 31, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their registration cum application forms for the COGJET (Cognitive Science Joint Entrance Test) 2024 on the official website - cogjet2024.in, within the said deadline.
Candidates may note that while applying for the COGJET 2024 Exam, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. However, the COGJET 2024 Application Fee for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), and PwD candidates is Rs 700.
As per the official schedule, the COGJET 2024 Exam will be held on February 24, 2024. The exam will be held in a single shift from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The exam will be held in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode at designated test centres across the country. The exam paper shall consist of a total of 40 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and candidates will be given a maximum time limit of 2 hours to answer all questions. The questions in the exam shall be based on cognitive psychology, neuroscience, mathematics, programming, and general reasoning.
Notably, the COGJET is a national-level entrance examination conducted to shortlisted suitable candidates for admissions into M.Sc in Cognitive Science and Integrated M.Sc-PhD program in Cognitive Science at CBCS, and PhD in Cognitive Science at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H).
