New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced that it will begin the registration process for Classes 9 and 10 for the academic session 2021-22 from December 15, according to officials.
The link for the registration will be available on the official website www.cbse.nic.in, the board said in its notification.
As per the notification, "Only those students shall be allowed to appear for class 10/ 12 board's examination session 2022-23, whose names would be submitted through the online application process."
The CBSE board, in its notification said that the affiliated schools must register themselves before going for online registration.
The notification said that schools should ensure that “Students being sponsored are their own regular and bonafide students. The students are not from any unauthorized or unaffiliated schools. Students are regularly attending classes in the schools. The students are not registered with some other School Education Boards in addition to the CBSE.”
The CBSE notification further said that it is mandatory that every affiliated school shall present a list of number of students and their particulars in respect of classes 9,10, 11 and 12 at the beginning of an academic session in a manner prescribed by the board.
Meanwhile, the newly affiliated schools should contact the regional office concerned to obtain the school code and password, in case they have not received the password. "New schools have to first enter the information on the OASIS portal. The information on OASIS should be filled very carefully on schools will not be allowed to change the declared section/ strength of students afterwards," the notification said.
The CBSE advised the schools to upload correct information as there would be no window for correction in this academic session.
