CBSE CTET Exam Date: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam date for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018 on the official website - ctet.nic.in. According to a short notice on the website, CTET is scheduled to be conducted on December 9. The examination is being conducted in and around 92 cities across the country. The exam will be held to appoint the eligible candidates for the post of teachers for Class 1 to 8. • Paper 1 will be conducted for the candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes 1 to 5 • Paper 2 will be conducted for the candidates who wish to be a teacher for classes 6 to 8 Paper II will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while paper I will take place from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. A person who scores 60 per cent or more in the exam will be considered as TET pass. CTET 2018 Syllabus • Paper 1: This exam will consist of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 (compulsory), Language 2 (compulsory, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. • Paper 2: This exam will test the candidate on the basis of his/her knowledge of Child Development & Pedagogy(compulsory), Language 1 (compulsory), Language 2 (compulsory), Mathematics and Science (for Mathematics and Science teacher ) and Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher).
