The paper was cited as easier than last year, and comprised of questions similar to the ones in the previous year papers. Though some students reported that Section D was moderate to difficult to solve. Overall, students who were well versed with the NCERT Mathematics Textbook and had practiced previous year papers can be expected to score 70+ out of total 80 marks.
Students across the globe fear Mathematics as a tough nut to crack, however, with an easy paper on the first day of the commencement of CBSE Class 10th Board Examinations 2019, students will be motivated for the rest of papers and take less stress.
No wonder CBSE is gearing up to introduce two levels of Mathematics from academic session 2019-20 in which students who do not wish to pursue core mathematics streams from Class 11th onwards, will be able to choose the easier version of Maths paper in Class 10th.
