MBA: For students who are confident, outspoken and possess good communication skills, and for whom MBA is the future academic goal, such students can opt for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) to hone their skills early on. Alternatively, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) is yet another option for commerce students who’ve made up their mind to pursue MBA.
Accountancy: For the ones who are bang on in their accounting skills and can manage long & strenuous sitting that goes in the preparation for Chartered Accountancy exams, CA is the holy grail of every commerce student. Such students must opt in for ICAI CA programmes right after Class 12th and pursue B.Com i.e. Bachelor of Commerce; or they can enrol in Bachelor of Finance and Accounting (BAF) to keep the focus on accounting and taxation practices . Similarly, CS aka Company Secretary is the option for those who have an interest in handling the financial and legal affairs of companies.
Law: Students who have set their eyes on becoming a lawyer and wish to appear for Judicial Services in due course of time, can enrol in B.Com. L.L.B. (Combination of Bachelor of Commerce and Law programme) or pursue LL.B. aka Legum Baccalaureus or Bachelor of Law post their graduation.
