In an official notice issued today, the examination department of the ICAI stated that "due to unavoidable circumstances, the Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination, Paper-1, Principles and Practice of Accounting scheduled to be held on 8th December 2020, from 2 pm to 5 pm stands rescheduled."
The aforementioned examination shall now be held on 13th December 2020 at the same venue(s) and timings i.e., 2 pm to 5 pm, the statement further read.
The institute said that admit cards already issued would remain valid for the rescheduled date however the schedule of the examination notified vide Notification No.13-CA(Exam)/N/2020 dated 21st August 2020 shall remain unchanged.
Meanwhile, the candidates appearing for the CA foundation examination Paper-1 are advised to stay in touch and keep checking the official website of the institute -- www.icai.org, for more updates.

Earlier this week, the ICAI released a new notification for candidates whose exam centers are in Covid-19 Containment Zones. As per the latest notification, candidates whose CA November 2020 exam centers fall in Containment Zones may submit their concerns on the official website - icai.org. for the attention of Examination Department.
