Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must possess a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized AICTE institute in the relevant discipline s/he is applying for. Candidates must read through the official advertisement to ascertain their eligibility before applying.

Age-Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 37 years for General category males and 40 years (upper age-limit) for General category females. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected by the BTSC on the basis of merit in the diploma course. The maximum marks which will be allotted based on diploma certificate marks is 75.
25 marks will be allotted on the basis of work experience as Junior Engineer in contractual employment. For each full employment year, 5 marks will be given. In case, a candidate was employed partially for an year then number of days the candidates has worked will be multiplied by 5 and the result will be divided by 365 to determine the points for that year.
Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be placed in the Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- with a consolidate pay of Rs. 20000:50000.
