The BSEB has extended the deadline for submitting scrutiny applications for 12th answer sheets till April 1, 2023. Candidates who are not satisfied with their results, can apply for the scrutiny (re-evaluation) of their answer sheets till April 1, 2023. Candidates can submit their scrutiny applications on the official BSEB website - biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. 


The BSEB announced the extension of the scrutiny application deadline through its official twitter handle on Thursday, March 30. Along with the announcement of the deadline, the board also underlined steps to submit the scrutiny applications.


“The online application date for the scrutiny of Intermediate answer sheets has been extended till April 1,” reads the official tweet from BSEB. “Candidates will be able to submit their scrutiny applications on biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in by the prescribed deadline,” the tweet added. 






Earlier, the last date to apply for the scrutiny of Bihar Board Class 12 Answer Sheets was March 29, 2023. The BSEB issued a notice in this regard on March 21, 2023, on the very same day as the announcement of BSEB 12th Results 2023. Through the scrutiny round, candidates can request for a re-evaluation of their answer sheets by paying a certain fee for requested re-evaluation per paper.

Notably, the BSEB announced the Bihar Board Class 12 Results 2023 on March 21, 2023. Among all candidates, the overall passing percentage in the BSEB 12th Board Exams 2023 is 83.7%. The passing percentage for Science, Arts, and Commerce streams stand at  83.93, 82.74, and 93.95, respectively.

  • Visit the official website - biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in

  • On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘Apply For Scrutiny (Intermediate Annual Examination 2023)

  • Register using your Roll Code, Roll Number, and Registration Number

  • Login using your system-generated Scrutiny Registration Number 

  • Select the subjects for which you wish to scrutiny your answer sheets

  • Pay the scrutiny fee as applicable per subject paper

  • Submit the application
