The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, has extended the exam dates of the BITSAT Session-1 Exam 2024. The advancing of the exam dates comes as a bid to avoid the clashing of BITSAT and JEE Advanced Exam Dates. As per the revised timeline, the BITSAT Session-1 Exam 2024 will be now held from May 19 to May 24, 2024. As per the previous schedule, the BITSAT Session-1 Exam 2024 was scheduled to be held from May 21 to May 26, where the last exam day of the BITSAT exam was clashing with the JEE Advanced 2024 Dates. Hence, the institute revised the dates of the exam considering concerns of students on the same.
However, candidates may note that only the dates of BITSAT Session-1 Exam 2024 have been revised. The BITSAT Session-2 Exam 2024 will be held as per the previously notified schedule. The second session of the BITSAT 2024 Exam is slated to be held from June 22 to June 26, 2024.
In the meantime, the online registration cum application process for the BITSAT 2024 Exam is also underway. Candidates who wish to appear for the exam can submit their BITSAT 2024 registration cum application forms on the official website - bitsadmission.com. The last date to register for the BITSAT 2024 Session-1 Exam is April 11, 2024. The BITSAT 2024 application fee for male candidates from India and Nepal is Rs 3,400, and Rs 2,900 for female candidates. The application fee for Dubai candidates is Rs 7,000, for both male and female candidates.
Conducted every year by the BITS Pilani, the BITSAT is a national-level exam aimed at shortlisting suitable candidates for admissions into BE, BPharm and MSc programmes offered at its numerous campuses across the country.
