Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has postponed the second Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), which was supposed to happen from June 26 to 28, 2024. The BSEB will announce the new date for the TET within the next two days, as reported by ANI.
The Board said that the exam is being postponed due to "unavoidable reasons" and that next date of conduct of the examination will be announced later.
"By virtue of Notification No.- PRO 238/2024 in view of Rule-4 of the Bihar School Special Teacher Rules, 2023, the Teacher Candidates appearing in the Local Body Teachers Competency Test, 2024 (II), all District Education Officers, All District Program Officers and all concerned are hereby informed that the Aptitude Test, 2024 (II) to be held in both shifts from 26.06.2024 to 28.06.2024 is postponed due to unavoidable reasons. 2. Date of conduct of said examination will be published later," the official notice read.

The application form for the competency test for local body teachers was available from April 26 to May 4, 2024. Meanwhile, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued the exam admit card for head teacher and head master positions on its official website.
