New Delhi: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) declared the results of the Bihar Board Inter Examination on Wednesday, March 16. The results were scheduled to be released at 3 pm, but there was some delay in the announcement.


Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2022. Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Sanjay Kumar, and Anand Kishor, Chairman, Bihar School Examination Committee, were also present on the occasion of the declaration of the Bihar Board's Inter examination results. 






As many as 13.5 lakh students registered for the Bihar Board Class XII examination. The exam was conducted from February 1 to February 14.


Bihar Board 12th Result 2022 was declared today on the following websites:

On March 3, BSEB released the answer key for the Bihar Board Inter Examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam objected to some of the answers in the answer key. The key had answers to objective questions which accounted for 50 per cent of the questions in the paper.


The results for all the streams – Arts, Science and Commerce – were declared simultaneously. A few days after the results are declared, students can collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools.


Reward For Toppers


The topper of each stream will be awarded a prize of Rs 1 lakh by the Bihar Board. A laptop and a Kindle eBook reader will also be given to them. 


The second-ranked will be felicitated with a Kindle eBook reader, a prize of Rs 75,000, and a laptop. The student who ranks third will be awarded an amount of Rs 50,000, along with a laptop and a Kindle 


The second-ranked is given a Kindle e-book with Rs 75,000 and a laptop. At the same time, the student who comes third is rewarded with 50 thousand rupees, a laptop and a Kindle eBook reader.


According to the Bihar Board rules, inter examinees have to score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject in order to pass the examination. Students have to pass separately in both theory and practical. Candidates who fail in one or two subjects will be given a chance to clear the Class XII exam through compartment exams.
