BCECE 2019 has been abolished by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), as stated in a notification released by BCECEB, on its official website – bceceboard.bihar.gov.in. As per an Important notice released via Adv. No. BCECEB (BCECE) - 2019/01 Dated 09.01.2019), the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has decided to grant admissions to various programmes in Medical and Engineering institutions of the state of Bihar via the National Testing Agency (NTA) organized National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main exams, respectively.


Until year 2018, the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) was organized by the BCECEB every year for granting admissions to candidates of PCB (medical) and PCM (engineering) groups in various professional courses in different Engineering, Medical and Agriculture colleges that come under the purview of the government of Bihar. However, going forward, BCECE 2019 will not be organized and admissions for these candidates will be held as per merit lists of NTA NEET (UG) 2019 and JEE (Main) 2019, followed by counselling by the universities and institutions in the state of Bihar.

Candidates must know that the registration for NEET (UG) 2019 (scheduled to be held on 5th May 2019) has already been closed, while JEE (Main) First Attempt 2019 is being organized currently across the country and JEE (Main) II Second Attempt will be held in April 2019 for which the application process is yet to be rolled out.
