APPSC Forest Range Officer Jobs Recruitment 2018: APPSC Forest Range Officer Recruitment 2018 notification is out on psc.ap.gov.in, as per which, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission is inviting applications for male/female candidates to fill 24 vacancies for the post of Forest Range Officer, out of which 20 vacancies are fresh while 4 are carried forward. The process of online application submission for recruitment is scheduled to begin on 10^th December 2018 and will conclude on 30^th December 2018.

Important Dates:

Submission of online application begins – 10^th December 2018
Submission of online application and payment of application fee ends – 30^th December 2018, 11:59 pm.
Offline screening test – 24^th February 2019 (tentative)
Online main examination – 28^th, 29^th & 30^th April 2019 (tentative)

APPSC Forest Range Officer Eligibility

Academic Qualification:

The applicant must be a graduate with a degree from a recognized University/Institute in any of the following subjects viz - Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications / Computer Science, Engineering (Agriculture / Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology.

Apart from academic criteria, the candidate must meet physical standards as mentioned in the official advertisement.

Age-Limit:

The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 – 28 years as on 1^st July 2018. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below.

Application Fee:

Applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs.250/- via Credit Card/Debit card/Internet Banking, along with an examination fee of Rs.120/-.

SC, ST, BC & Ex-Servicemen need to pay the application fee of Rs.250/- but are exempted from paying the exam fee of Rs. 120/-

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in computer-based examination, that will be held as per the scheme of examination listed in the official advertisement. Candidates need to appear for Screening examination / Main examination / Physical examination in order to be considered for selection.
