Around 18-20 cars were gutted after a fire broke out at a parking lot near Mandavali police station in Delhi's Madhu Vihar area. No casualties were reported in the incident. After the fire broke out at 1:30 on Wednesday night, eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.






Speaking about the fire incident, Yashwant Meena, Delhi Fire Service official said: "We received a call at about 1:30 am. There were several vehicles in the parking lot when the fire broke out. We sent eight fire tenders. About 18-20 vehicles were damaged in fire and we were able to save rest of them."






In the visuals, several cars can be seen completely charred due to the fire. The firefighters can also be seen at the spot of the incident, trying to douse the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further.


5 Shops Charred As Fire Breaks Out In Chandni Chowk


In a separate incident, at least five shops were damaged after a fire broke out in north Delhi's Chandni Chowk area on Wednesday. No one was injured in the incident and no casualties were reported, the officials told news agency PTI.


According to a Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official, the five shops that were damaged completely in the fire were located near Fatehpuri Masjid.
