New Delhi: Several AAP leaders, including Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj, are currently outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence following a raid conducted by ED officials at Kejriwal's residence in North Delhi's Civil Lines. This comes after the Delhi High Court refused to grant Kejriwal protection from coercive action in an excise policy case today.
AAP leaders have said that four buses of police personnel have been stationed outside Kejriwal's home. They also claimed that the road outside his residence has been blocked.
Addresing the media, Bharadwaj said, "The way police are inside the house of the CM and no one is allowed to enter it seems, the CM house has been raided. It seems, there is preparation to arrest the CM."
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was summoned for the ninth time by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday in connection to the money laundering case.
Responding to the summons, Atishi said, “Kejriwal wishes to co-operate with the ED investigation. However, our understanding is that ED is not just an investigative agency, but BJP’s political weapon and wants to arrest Kejriwal.”
